Dear Tetso community,
In our relentless pursuit of academic excellence and the holistic development of our students at Tetso College, the Department of English is hosting a 20-Day State-Level National Testing Agency (NTA) UGC-NET Workshop. Scheduled from April 16th to May 15th, this workshop is designed specifically for postgraduates (Paper I – open to all, Paper II – English only), while also welcoming interested UG students, and faculty members.
The National Testing Agency (NTA), entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC), administers the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET), a prestigious national-level examination that assesses candidates’ eligibility for Assistant Professor roles and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF). Qualifying this exam also opens pathways for pursuing a PhD in Indian Universities and Colleges, as qualifying NET is now mandated for all PhD applicants. Additionally, students appearing for CUET can also enroll for this course as a preparatory channel.
Hence, the primary aim of this workshop is to equip our students who aspire to contribute as educators in universities and colleges in the near future.
